Chair - Herb Richardson

Herb Richardson is currently the Quality Assurance Representive at BAE Systems.  He is supervising the implementation of CMMI and ISO 9001:2000 though out the program.  Previously he was the Quality Manager of Engineering Systems Solutions, Inc, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business headquartered in Frederick, Maryland.  He spent 22+ years in the US Navy’s Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine program and has 15 years auditing experience.  Herb is also the Audit Division Policies and Procedures Chairman.  Herb is a CQA.

Chair-Elect - Eugene Kirsch

Eugene Kirsch is the Manager for Quality Services, Global Operations Team,  Booz Allen Hamilton. He has over 20 years of experience in quality management leadership roles. He has established and directed quality management and risk management practices for multiple large systems integration programs. His recent past clients include the US Treasury, the US Census, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Internal Revenue Service, Tennessee Valley Authority Chairman of the Board, and the US Army National Guard. Gene is a Senior Member of ASQ, and has served as a Member of the Board, Section 509 and as the Chair, ISO 9000 Users Group, since October of 2000. He is also a member of TC 176 (Quality Management), Technical Advisory Group to ISO.  Gene is a CSQE.

Secretary - Suzanne Roberts

Suzanne Roberts is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Northrop Grumman, and was previously the Quality Manager at LTSI, a logistics and transportation subsidiary of Northrop Grumman. She has been in Quality with Northrop Grumman and FedEx for more than ten years, and prior to that was in operations management for seven years at FedEx Express.  Her professional credentials include: CQA, CMQ/OE, and SSBB

Treasurer – Geoffrey Withnell

Geoffrey Withnell is a Manager in BearingPoint’s Public Services practice.  He has over 30 years experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with extensive contracting and consulting experience in Quality System development and implementation.  His current assignment is as Master Black Belt for a DOD Six Sigma program.  His clients have included General Motors, General Electric, the American Red Cross, among others.  His professional credentials include:  SSBB, CQE, CSQE, CMQ/OE, CQA, and Senior Member of ASQ.  He holds a BA in Management from the University of Phoenix.
