Kirk Holmes has 25 years of experience in technology, operations, and general management.  He is President of Holmes and Associates, Inc, a management consultancy focused on IT Service Management and broadband service operators. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University. He is a Baldrige Examiner for the Maryland State Performance Excellence Awards program.

The inaugural meeting of the Performance Excellence SIG will be held at the following location:
WMATA (Metro Headquarters)
600 5th St. NW, Room 505
Washington, DC 20001
(Across from the Verizon Center, Gallery Place Metro Station)
Please use the Metro Rail (Gallery Place).  Upon entering the lobby area, inform the guard that you are attending the "Performance Excellence" meeting.  Attendees may contact Michael Smith at 301-651-2305 to be escorted.

Attendees are invited to participate in the registration & networking portion of the meeting, which includes free pizza and soft drinks.
