"Aligning the Workforce for Strategy Execution"

Presented by

Ms. Michele Ahluwalia

(Manager, Strategic Planning, Southern Management Corp.)

Thursday, March 14, 2013
Washington DC Metro Headquarters at Gallery Place

Program: Want to ensure that the organizationís strategy results in high performance? First, consider the strength of the strategic plan and then consider the effectiveness of the strategy execution. If the plan is weak and execution is stellar, thatís a formula for disaster. More often it is the other way around and most organizations do a rather good job of developing the strategy. However, they find the challenges within strategy execution. In this presentation Ms. Ahluwalia will highlight how considering the linkages across all categories of the Baldrige Criteria promotes a systematic, outcome-focused and well-deployed Strategic Planning Process. She will share how she uses the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) rapid improvement model as a framework for her organizationís Strategic Planning Process. She will focus on key elements within this process for aligning the workforce for execution to drive strategic performance. We hope to see you there.
